What to Pack for Beachbody Coach Summit: Last-Minute Edition!

In less than two days, somewhere around 25,000 fitness-loving fiends will descend upon Downtown Indianapolis for four days of workouts, business workshops, and incredible motivational speakers. What is this madness? Beachbody Coach Summit, of course!

I am super excited to attend my second Summit this year. Last year’s Summit in New Orleans was my first, and it was an awesome experience. The weekend was full of team bonding, seeing the trainers I workout with in my living room every day in person, and getting a ridiculous boost of energy and motivation from all the inspiring people in attendance!

This year I’m looking forward to staying with some of my favorite teammates. Last year my husband came with, which was amazing and so fun, but I’m really looking forward to some girl time! I’m also eagerly anticipating sweating to brand-new workouts and soaking up wisdom from the keynote speakers.

Of course, in true procrastinator fashion, I haven’t started packing yet. Although I attended last year, I found myself needing a refresher on exactly what to wear to all those workouts, workshops, and fabulous team outings, so after spending way too long looking through last year’s photos and googling “what to pack for beachbody summit”, I decided to compile my own “last-minute list” in hopes that not only will I remember it for next year, but the other last-minute packers might find it helpful as well!

So here’s my quick list! This year I’m also trying to stick to the “no-spend June” plan that my husband and I committed to at the beginning of the month, so I’m taking a lot more food than I did last year. It also helps that this year’s Summit is just a short drive away from my home state of Wisconsin. Last year we flew to New Orleans and so were able to bring a lot less than I plan to bring this year. I also remember really worrying about clothing last year, only to realize that people wear whatever they want and no one really cares. That’s a dress code that I can get behind. 🙂

If you’re attending Summit in Indianapolis this year, I hope I’ll see you! And if you’re nervous or unsure what to expect from a convention full of health and fitness coaches, don’t be! My experiences last year taught me that everyone is so excited to be there. Most attendees are so happy to meet other coaches and are so genuinely themselves that you don’t need to worry about what you wear, your fitness level, or anything except for having a great time and learning a ton!

See you soon, Indy!
